Terms of Use

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Agreement

By using this site and the free estate check, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the estate check is — and is not

The estate check is an educational tool. Your answers are used to prepare a general review of where your estate may stand and to connect you with an estate planning specialist who can discuss your results.

The check and your results are not legal, financial, or tax advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional who has reviewed your specific situation. Using this site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Whether any planning tool (such as a will or trust) fits your situation depends on facts and state law that a quiz cannot fully evaluate.

Eligibility

The site is intended for adults (18+) located in the United States.

Your submissions

You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and to submit only your own information — or information you are authorized to share, such as when helping a family member with their consent.

Communications

If you submit your contact details, we may contact you about your request as described in the consent language shown at submission and in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out at any time (reply STOP to texts, or tell us during any call).

Intellectual property

The site, including its design, text, and graphics, belongs to Trusted Estatesor its licensors. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trusted Estates is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the date above updated accordingly.
